Today is thursday! Paris and Milan was on today!! I watched abit of it, but went off shortly after cause was sleepy.
These days, i've been trying to find full time work related to accounting.. since i am waiting for results (TBA on 4/6/09) and reservists (on 11/6/09) yea..
but the thing is i don't think everything had went according to plan.. Job doesn't just fall from the skys these days. - Economy is not in a good shape equates to tighter job markets. Just got to hope for the best. Hui Li had given me a tip on taking up tuition.. but i haven't called yet!! =X Maybe i shall do so tml.
So other than finding job, i've been well.. painting and cleaning at my old house the past 2 weeks.. reading up on travel guide books to southwestern china.. playing football manager(on lappy).. playing metal gear solid 4(on ps 3).. going out with classmates like almost 3 days per week.. and taking part in events like the occasional concerts and sports events --"Much about nothing-Starring Adrian Pang"--"Passion Run 10km"
haha.. kinda uneventful, kinda desperate for a job, kinda wanna pass all my modules.

Ran 10km today. Was quite eventful. =D i kinda ran slower than i thought i would. haha.. and i langa into an ang moh on the race track cause he was cycling in it.. and got called "idoit!" haha.. but was happy ppl spoke up for me.. my tag number is running pip no. 5678!! and a pretty girl called out my pip no. to cheer this young adult who looks close to giving up to "carry on, u can do it!".. had lunch with Mx and Wayne after the race at bedok interchange hawker centre. nice =)
Afternoon, went back to Serangoon old house to bathe and sleep. Was a nice sleep..
At night met up with Hui Xian (god-sis) to go watch a stage play starring adrain pang, titled "Much Ado About Nothing" nice!!! =D The english they use is v old kinda english. v slang and literaturish.. but nonetheless, the acting and comedy parts are v nice! =D
Met up with the guys & gals from my uni classmates @ harbour front at 1030am. Then went to have breakfast at the hawker centre near the bus interchange. I had "gam jia jui" =D nice beverage to start the exciting day!!
Then took the sky tram to Sentosa Island, beach station we alight.
Went str to siloso beach!! woo hoo!! love it! =D
Pretty girls.. young ones.. old ones.. average ones.. all there!! hah.a. Bikini, off shoulder, tube, skirt.. etc! all there! haha
Played alot of sports today! We swam bit, played beach soccer, volleyball, ultimate frisbee! FUN!!
Oh and we got the 3 bday ppl!! down to the sea for a much awaited "get wet session!" hahahaha! yays!!

After that we went to vivo, and thats where i splitted from the group.
Went to Marina square to meet weida and junyang for jy's bday celebration! Guess wat.. the 1hr rule still stays.. (it says that py will be late, so all outing will be told to py as 1hr earlier) so yes.. today i was 1 hr earlier!! haha.. man i was kinda sianz.. but i was in a good mood, so i went to do my "chores". went to withdraw money from an atm at raffles place, guess who i saw!!

Had steam pot at "Hot Pot Culture" restaurant in Marina square. Kinda waste money!! haha.. v full.. but the food quality is kinda mediocre... haha..
nonetheless, we had a good time!
sometimes wats important is the time spent with friends, especially those friends that u know, u just can't live without. Treasure now, than regret not being doing so.
Going for a run at east coast park tml! 10km, passion run! i am so excited! And at night gg for a concert with jie at fort canning park! so excited too!
Met Zr, Yl up at Orchard train station at 230pm. Went straight to International Building opposite Shaw Centre for job interview =D Think it went well.. i just went in, and Anthony, the boss of the agency just gave me the details to go down for interview in the afternoon on Monday! -Got a good feeling about this.
Then went to watched movie "Night At The Museum 2!" haha.. a very steady..steady?--steady, ok buy! kinda decision. haha.. we "three days"(what we call ourselves) always liddat de. haha..
Then went to PS to check out the crowd gathering over there for the "I-Weekly" annual concert! haha.. there was already a crowd when we were there.. concert starts at 8pm and at that time we went to check things out - 6pm.
Went to have dinner at the food court in PS> 2nd time in a week. Had the famous indonesian grilled chicken rice +P
After filling our tummies, we went to watch the concert. Managed to squeeze in and secured a good spot! haha.. =D It was my first experience in a pop concert, so it was really an eye opener! =D Love it!

Met up with Mei Ling to pass her her race kit at PS. (PS. Dunno y ML and MX de gan qing went downhill..)
Then met up with Adam and Penny (Out of the bluEe)..
haha!! went to have ice cream at "Ben & Jerry!!" First time having that brand of ice cream! so i am so happy!! Had Merlion! Which means 6 scoops of the flavours there =D
After that we split off our own ways to catch last bus or train or NR. I pei Penny back to CCK b4 splitting ways there as she walked home to her residence at CCK while i take LRT to BP.

SINGAPORE: A Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) regular serviceman died during a free—fall parachute training session in Bloemfontein, South Africa, on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) said First Warrant Officer (1WO) Tan Poh Eng was part of a six—man team that jumped off a Republic of Singapore Air Force C—130 aircraft at a height of 12500 feet to conduct a formation jump.
When the formation broke off at 3500 feet to deploy their parachutes, 1WO Tan, 53, spiralled downwards to the ground.
He was found unconscious at about 4.45pm (Singapore time), and given immediate medical attention by an SAF doctor and a medic on—site.
He was evacuated by helicopter at 5.15pm and arrived at about 5.35pm at the Pelonomi Hospital in Bloemfontein.
1WO Tan, a parachute jump instructor from the Commando Training Institute, was pronounced dead at 5.57pm in the hospital.
He was part of a 51—member SAF Commando team participating in SAF freefall training which is being conducted from April 27 to May 24. The SAF conducts freefall training in South Africa once every two years.
Mindef and the SAF extend their deepest condolences to the family of the late 1WO Tan and is investigating the incident. All SAF freefall training has been temporarily suspended.

I heard this news on the Radio, 933FM. At that time i was at my old house, cleaning the cupboard. When i heard the news, i froze for a sec or two. As i couldn't believe my ears. When the info sinked in.. I Clenched my fist, One tap to my forehead, to my left shoulder, to my right shoulder and back to my left shoulder.. ...said i short prayer... Amen.
He could be one of my airborne trainer when i did static line parachute jump in my nsf days. i am not close to him. but to me, the commando's is a closely knit family. So this is a huge blow to all servicemen and NSman.
I mourn for the loss of 1WO Tan Poh Eng. I'm going to the temple tml. Rest in peace, SIR!
Went out with ZR and YL again today. Went for interview at Sentosa! tell u what! It's a v nice job environment. Simply love it! =D Hopefully i did well enough to get the weekend job. I know i know.. i am studying part time + working full time + weekend burn.

Slacked the whole of yesterday, had a mini outing with zr, yl and km. (equates to didn't paint/ clean my old house..) Gonna hmm.. clean the kitchen and room's cupboards! =D Wanna do painting.. but lets see wat time i get back home today.
Past week i have been in Serangoon painting my old house. The 3 room's walls are almost done.. but the window grills and living room is still yet to be painted. haha.. really alot of work to do.
Just hope i can find a job really soon..
and hope that i will get my xin fu soon.

Went to Guang Yin Tang to pray and yes, it was so so packed in bugis! haha. I managed to pray, and told guang yin ma everything that i had wanted to tell her. =D Felt so relieved and peaceful after praying.
Then i went to tampines to well.. read up on my travel dreams. haha.. thinking of going to Macau-Hong Kong-Yunan at the end of the yr. So kinda reading about it today since its post exams =) I also read about philipnes too! haha.. Philipines i guess is a really nice place to go and snorkel and chill at the beaches. ha.ha.
After that met Di for dinner and movie. Watched "horsemen". haha thought it was a bloody(gross-sy) movie.. but wasn't as scary as "SAW" i guess.. haha.. I could take it ba. I'm pretty scared of horror movies actually. haha..
Then i send Di home.. haha.. it was like midnight le.. fortunately there was night rider today. haha
Am safely home now at the comfort of my kitchen table typing this entry.
Tml going to meet up Di again to finsh up the mother's day present that we have started. haha.. should be quite a long day again tml. but oh well..
I thought i did really well in my final paper today. haha
though i dunno whether i will have alot of error,
hope i can hit HD for Financial Accounting this Semester.
Had pizza hut for lunch and watched "wolverine" at ps with my classmates.
ohoh, and thanks to Zhong Hua bro that helped to kap $20 to the purchase of my bball!! haha its selling price is $69, so it was seriously a big purchase for me, but oh well!! haha just gonna enjoy what the bball entails me to. which is playing it! haha!
i'm going to wake up early tml to play bbal at cc or sth heh.
i was inspired by the cleaners there. they are all ID from some homes i think. haha.. i know id's v well because i interact with them alot. thats why when this particular cleaner asked me politely to move to a table near by(because he needs to swip up the place). i complied with a thank you. =) I am so proud of them!!!
